Inspiration

Daring Greatly and The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown

Brene Brown’s work is inspirational on so many levels. I learned so much about myself and my ability to choose to be courageous and vulnerable. As Brene says, “You can’t get to courage without walking through vulnerability.” If you enjoy audio programs her workshop, “the Power of Vulnerability” encompasses the work presented in both of these books. She is fun and inspirational!

The Confidence Code by Katty Kay and Claire Shipman

The authors of this book deconstruct what genuine confidence looks and feels like, and shows us how all women — even those missing the confidence gene — can bring more of it into their lives. I listened to the audio book while out on daily walks following my “big leap.” It was so informative and empowering for me taking those first shaky steps into designing my new career and life!
